mine are free, I do them in the basement with tire irons and a nomar tire balancing stand.

Local dealer charger .5 hour each to change the tire and mount/balance off the bike.
1.1 hours for the rear and .7 for the front if on the bike.

local indy charged me 36 and change for fixing a flat last Friday and that included a new tube for my laced rear wheel.

My indy charges $65 a wheel, dealer charges $85 ea. I am so gonna buy a nomar!

I just called around on this today. The local HD dealership wanted $169 for the rear tire, plus this and that. All total would have been $275. They won't install a tire that you bought somewhere else and will not install the tire if you just bring in the wheel.

A local indy shop was about $25 less on the whole deal, or they will m&b a tire I bring in, on my wheel for $25. Or if I bring my bike, it's $50 more.

Found the exact same tire on ebay with free shipping for $137. I'll pull the wheel Saturday morning, and get it mounted up. All total... $162. I'll take the savings and add to the new lift table fund.

I gotta ask... you paid $174 for EACH tire, or total for BOTH?

If you got BOTH for that, I'll take a trailer load of them.
