Sounds like my father in law. He does it on a 1950 Indian Chief. He can still rip on that thing when he wants to though. It ain't easy to ride either... everything twists or rocks or moves to do something different. I have a hell of a time riding that thing, but to him it is all second nature. I hope that I am that sharp when I get all old and crusty!

Bought 2 pairs of HD boots within last 1.5 years, and both have had to be re-soled completely, already. My Red Wing boots that I have had for 20 years, have been re-soled twice.

The Diamond Posse stopped by where I work on their way up to Wi.
Mike and Margaret Wilson were waiting to ride a ways with them. I had some time to visit with them and hear some really great stories. They both rode their bikes about 50 miles to get there and still ride every day. Margaret now has about 650,000 miles under her belt and who knows how many Mike has?? Margaret and Mike both are in the motorcycle hall of fame. Here is a link with a picture of them and believe me Margaret is no bigger than a minute. I think this is a fairly recent picture. I want to get to be thier age 1st of all. And hope I can still ride as well as she does when I get there....

There's an older guy around here who's in his 80's, still riding!! And when he comes to a stop, his legs go out like training wheels and he starts slowing down, with his feet on the ground sliding along until he comes to a full stop. Well, no biggie, he's still on the upside, and riding. Hope i can ''keep it up '' that long. :]
