What year did Harley sell the most bikes ? What was the best selling model for that year ? Just wondering what model & year have the most bikes on the road . I enjoy useless knowledge

Dont know what year or how many but its got to be the Sportster.

2003 Model Year I would think, The MoCo ran it for 16 months....those "limited" 100 year bikes are still everywhere.....

Chances are the XL or Sportster is #1 simply due to the fact the bike has been produced and sold since 1957 with no gaps in production.

Toughie, I know the best selling bike of the 90's was the Fat Boy, 2000-2010 I believe was the Road King.

I would imagine it was a sportster, possibly an end of the war era yr. when the servicemen snatched them up.

Or a Police Fleet bike somewhere throughout history.
