Oh, you are gonna love it out here! What part of Cali? North or South?

Nice bike BTW!

Yep, you are going to dig it. I was a transplant from Detroit about 5 years ago. Great for riding, some of the best in the world. Has its downsides too though. Good thing you already have work!

I am in SoCal about 40 miles north of L.A.

You also have to figure out if your current ride is legal to register in California. Emission requirements are different than anywhere else.

Its really nice up there. I am sure somebody familiar with the area will chime in shortly.

Work for the Government. I was out there in 08 for 3 weeks with work. I am really excited and looking forward to it.

Brought my bike from Detroit where there are NO emission requirements and had no trouble plating my ride. The sourpuss that inspected it had a little trouble locating a number or something but it passed.

Thanks, hopefully no issues. I am sure Regs will be a lot more expensive than here. How is Bike Insurance?
