Thanks for posting that link. There's some badass bikes there.

There does on this bike. I can still remember dad stretching and raking the frame on this one. It won't get changed.

LOOOONG forks, extreme rake, needs a 5 acre field to turn around in. That makes a chopper. I saw one a while back at Rocket Rogers, the accelerator was backwards, that seems dangerous as hell to me. But I guess if you lived long enough to get used to it, it would be OK, lol.

chopper??
It all started when the boys came back from the 2nd Big one and wanted to express themselves little differently. They rode Harleys and made them their own. It is an individual expression of yourself. I have always believed in that. It's your machine, no matter what it is, she's yours, and no one has the right to tell you what to do with her, least of all tell you that it would look better if you did this or that to her. Make her your own, my friends, love her and she'll love you back. My 2bits worth, signed the ol' poop. cole

For ME.... a "chopper" is a bike YOU customized... frame, paint, seats what ever... maybe you did the work... maybe you barted your skills at one thing for your buddy's skill at another. the point is YOU made the bike what it is... it's your vision, it's your ride.
Whether the bike meets with a stranger's approval, is the farthest thing from your mind.
Actually in NYC... they'd be called "gay"....
