Tried to find parts for a '72 yamaha 650 lately? Damn near impossible! It does run though. Or at least it did the last time I tried to start it. Lots of memories with this bike. It's the first street bike I ever rode solo, back when I was 13 or 14. It will grace the roads again some day.

A chopper is a style, not a brand. The term "Chopper" is to remove any extra crap off the bike to strip it down. Hence how the term started.

I'm glad you like Harley Davidsons; I do too.
But to deny the influence & sheer numbers of British motorcycles chopped & bobbed in the 60s & 70s is to deny history. They almost define "old school".

Here is a Honda 750 that I built from a stock bike back in the late 70s.

Rigid frame, car tire on rear, 12" over girder front end, etc.
