This has been going on for as long as I can remember. But. This has to be a new low. Drive while legally blind. No license. Kill a motorcylist.( He was not wearing a helmet.) Get a slap on the wrist. And what ? keep on driving after your probation is up? No punishment after killing someone. WTF?

If that was my family member she did that to, I would shoot her and say 'I sorry didn't see her, due to something in my eye temporary blinding me' !!!

....plus she had 4 kids in the car - an infant who was injured.... no child endangerment - good prosecutors, I had heard Texas was much tougher on crime (guess I was wrong?).

They should throw the book at her, plus she didn't think about endangering the kids lives in the car. Would you drive you car around with your kids in the back blindfolded, I don't think so!!!

 

So if she reaches the end of her probation, she won't even have a felony conviction? Yep, that is as close to scott free as you can get. I'm with painey - if it was a member of my family, she wouldn't reach the end of probation (except I doubt I'd stay around to explain my eyesight).
