Not mentioning the biker, why were there no child endangerment charges filed? Didn't the article say the kids (as young as 2 months) where not in car seats or any other kind of restraint? Sounds to me like the prosecutor is not doing his job.

She has 2 previous convictions for driving without a license.

Now she killed someone.

Next time she'll kill more people.

Not surprising at all. Many moons ago, I was run over on my bike by a retired postal worker that was legally night blind. Oh yeah, did I mention he ran me over AT NIGHT! Laid me up for about five months, and he got a ticket for some minor traffic infraction.

Looks like I can start crossing names off my list so long as I use my car. I mean, sure beats getting 25 to life for pulling a trigger.

Man, that really sucks! I just don't get how society has become so indifferent to human life anymore

I tried looking up an email address of Waco 19th District Court where the trial took place. There was no email address available. The judge was Honorable Ralph Strother, in case someone want to let them know what they think about the trial results.

McLennan County Courthouse
501 Washington Ave., Suite 303
Waco, Texas 76701
Phone: (254) 757-5081
Fax: (254) 759-5683

"Mitchell has been issued two previous citations for driving without a license, records state. She told police that she did not see the motorcycle coming toward her and did not see any other vehicles."

No s**t she's legally blind. This is totally beyond comprehension. They should lock her up and throw away the key.

I hope they at least stop her disability payments. She lost her right to have tax dollars pay for her stupidity.
