Don't be cheap with your eyes. Eyestrain is made much worse with cheap glasses. The distortion makes you eye muscles work overtime, a clean lens with few optical distortions will make you eyes much better at the end of the day.

I got some Maui Jims too. Best optics I've ever looked through in sunglasses. The water, the greens, just look spectacular. But like it says above, they're no good at freeway speeds. Plus they cost a fortune. I paid $246 for mine. Ouch.

I have two pair of the Wiley-X "blink" - which are great for a small face with my rx and transition lenses. As others have said, they do not get really dark, so at peak sun times, I have a pair of N I K E very dark rx that I wear.

As far as non-prescription and cheap, the Curvz are the best I've had. I never had a pair in transition, but it looks like they make them now. For $20/pair, I used to carry one in dark, one in clear and one in yellow.

I always wear mine Oakley Hijinx. Almost no air on the eyes.

Day time a elcheapo orange wrap around sun glasses from Big Lots and yellow safty glasses for night riding...total out of pocket $15.00 for both...I have Ray Bans in the truck

Oakley Monster Pups w/transition w/mirror coating up front and AR coating in back... I can wear these day or night.

I did just get these in the mail today though... Oakley Split Thumps... 2GB MP3 player with detachable ear buds... Gonna try them out this weekend...
