Guy sounds like he was getting it. As long as the groups are small it's good to school people on how to group ride.

I hate gaps also. My one buddy is a great friend but he is a lagger. Drives me nuts to go on a long jaunt with him. I am always having to look in my mirrors. I taught my G/F how to ride correctly. It's so much easier to ride with people you don't have to worry about.

They have to learn with a safe group.

Some people have a hard time riding in a half of a lane. But if you work on it things become easyer. Then group riding is then every day thing for you.

If you are not the lead dog the view is always the same.

I guess he hates being last.
One of those things that just cracked me up a little on the ride, I think I pissed him off. Weird but schooling a new guy kind of made me smile.
Sounds like me some years ago ... but now I'm as aggressive as everyone else.

Put the new guy up front if he is a problem, the last time a (new guy) idiot was behind me he ran into me at 50 mph (ouch). The guy was just daydreaming right up until he hit me and then he woke up.
