My Street Bob and VFR Interceptor
I have an '07 Street Bob and I added a '93 Honda VFR750 about four weeks ago. I've been riding the VFR (which is a V4 sport / sport touring bike) a lot lately just because it is new to me.
I returned to the Street Bob today and WOW was I re-impressed with my Harley! The VFR is very nimble and quick and makes me want to ride fast. My Street Bob seemed sooooo plush and welcoming and much more enjoyable overall. What I immediately realized is, the VFR with full fairing puts out A LOT of heat onto your upper legs. I used to think my Harley put out some heat, but it was such a reduction with the air cooling and no plastic. My Harley now feels like a cool running bike!
I realize my Harley is fourteen years newer, but everything seemed better. The ride, the brakes, the torque, the sound, the total experience. Sport bike riders that don't "get" a Harley, must have never ridden one. I LOVE MY HARLEY!

Another thing. On the VFR, I'm sitting on top of the bike, and on the Street Bob, I'm sitting "in" the bike, if that makes any sense. Going around sweeping turns on the Street Bob is pure joy.
