what a pig!
the other month i had a 95" kit put in my bike, when i picked it up this old guy eccentric looking, huge moustache etc, was shelling out wads of cash over the counter, the guy said i will just go get your bike!
he came out on a pig!!it sounded really strong in the motor, dents and bondo over the tank, ripped seat, indicators stuck on wooden arms, old beat up apes with sissy bar!when he left the guy said would you believe thats an 09, it did have a 200 on the back, and tank would of been nice except for dents and bondo, paint looked new!!
he said the guy was a bit eccentric and had more money then the bank,he bought a new bike and paid the shop heaps to bash it up and make it look crap!!unbelievable!

The owner of that has to be a true free spirit. No offense, but the owner is probably more "biker" than the majority of the crowd here... just sayin'

+1. Could not have said it any better if I'd thought about all night long.

I don't think you'd bother buying something like this if you plan to 'strip all the crap off it'!

It's a rat bike; there's a whole scene over here in the UK and even more so in Europe, especially Germany.

Getting the shop to bash up an 09 is sort of cheating though...I don't think that would go down very well amongst other rat bikers.

This bike at the top of this thread is actually pretty bare and decent looking for a rat bike though...have a look at these.

Not really a rat bike as such, but...
