Your painted one looks better than the chrome, IMO. I don't like 3D chrome badges.

I agree, but they do look a little better on a black tank.

Gotta say I'm partial to the no logo tank paint job but that's just because it's from my bike lol

 

Here's my new favorite, from my Softail. It's basically silver on silver pearl, so it's very subtle - completely disappears from some angles and looks black or blue or whatever color is around from others:

 

My favorite is the Road King ('97, '99, 00). Too bad you have to spend close to $200 for a set or I'd put them on my XLC-- (Is that acceptable?)

I would have to say the one on my bike because it is mine. I also like the bar and shield badges as well as the Fat Boy badges.
