I took the MSF BRC course 4 weeks ago, I am 48 and have never ridden a bike in my life. Hub decided he wanted a bike again after not having one for about 12 years and he didn't want to have to haul my butt around behind him so he got me a bike too. I am so glad I took the course, I learned a lot and I am sure that I wouldn't be doing nearly as well as I am if I had not taken the course. Unfortunately, where I live we won't have too much longer to ride this year I may even sign up and take the course again in the spring just for a riding tune up.
