You ever have one of those moments where you just say "What was I thinking?" I did tonight.
Gas station is 3 miles from the house. In shorts and sneakers and didn't want to change into boots and pants for a quick run down. Well ... after I gas up I notice the sun is almost down. So I play "dodge the hot pipes" while I get on my EGC. All is well.
Then ... I notice the bugs as I pull out of the station and yep ... the whole three miles was dragon flies, love bugs, etc etc. Crashing into my legs at 60 mph.
In case you're wondering ... it really doesn't feel good but I suppose that's what I get for wearing shorts.
Plz feel free to remind me how bone-headed that was.

i went on a quick ride last year to meet the wife for dinner, wearing shorts of course, while backing the ultra into a parking spot i burnt the crap out of my leg sooooooooooooo no more shorts no matter how short the ride....lol

3 miles of very busy highway where traffic runs 60+. Maybe I should have driven 30 and see if the tanker trucks can slow down fast enough to not kill me?
