Default Kyle Petty Charity Ride

Did anyone see the ride come through where they lived? I went to the local gathering today at Philidelphia MS casino.. I was nice. There was about 100 bikes.. I got to meet Kyle, he was very nice and got to get a picture and autograph from him.. Just seeing if they rode through yalls towns or cities...

Anyone who has FB can see my pics at this album.. You can add me if you would like

Don't know if they came through the "Omaha NE" area, but would've been nice to see - I probably misset the boat... Always liked Kyle Petty - way back when he raced the Mountain Dew #42 in NASCAR. He's a great supporter for charity & glad to see he's still logging the miles for good things. Awesome pics - thanks for sharing!

He and his dad really have a big heart. There were 2 or 3 special need children there yesterday and they really took up with them, it was amazing! I really wished I had the money to ride in this ride one day but 10 grand will never be in my bank account

Yeah, we'll probably go. Do you ever listen to the John Boy and Billy Big Show on the radio in the mornings? They have an op-ed spot every half-hour by a guy named Robert D. Raiford. I think he's in his 80's, and he makes that ride every year. I'm not a celebrity groupy by any stretch of the imagination, but I thought it'd be cool for my son to meet him and Kyle Petty if possible.

On a related note, I recently checked into that ride...never had a clue as to the costs...and, I was informed this year's ride cost each participant a little over $28 grand. Don't guess I'll be making that ride anytime soon.

I went to the Petty farm a few years ago when the ride ended. Saw a great concert with Sawyer Brown and Toby Keith.

Yep, I listen to the Big Show every morning.

Yea man I listen to them all the time... I saw ole Raiford and got his picture... He was nice and seemed to be getting around good to be as old as he was....

Yea I had heard you have to donate 10 grand and then the rest is the gas you buy and everything else... I wished I had the money to do that but I would have to rob a few banks, haha

I bet that was awesome... If I lived closer I would like to go to the farm and see the place... Was it nice?

We didn't see much of the farm other than fences and pastures....The whole event was out in a big field.
