You do not have anything to worry about, no one wants to steal a 2006 Superglide (apparantly the worst year bike Harley ever made) j/k

Don't think twice about the things you read or hear about a certain motorcycle.A lot of us have had endure the crap about how bad the AMF bikes were.Stolen Harleys? If a thief wants your bike it will get stolen,no matter what you do.All you can do is try to make yourself comfortable with your attempt to slow them down.

1. Buy cable lock. Attach one end to an eyebolt in the floor. You'll want to recess the eyebolt so you can roll the bike into the garage without hitting it. Being below floor level, it will tend to accumulate water, so cut a groove in the garage floor to give the water a drain path. Make sure the groove runs downhill. You should cut it about 1" wide, then lay a 1/2" piece of PVC pipe into the groove and cover it with asphalt, tar, or Quick-Crete. Attach the other end of the cable lock to the safety pin of an M-67 fragmentation grenade. Using a small amount of duct tape, attach the grenade to the front forks, taking care not to tape the "spoon" to the body of the M-67.
2. Put a webcam in the garage. Connect it to a spare computer running Dorgem. Set the Dorgem program to take photos when it detects motion.
You'll lose your bike, but the photos will go viral on YouTube and you'll be so famous, Harley will give you a brand new bike. No, really! They really do stuff like that! (I read it on the Internet).

another idea is, COVER IT with one of those bike tents( out of sight out of mind) Tell ya neighbors to keep an eye out( case it is stolen or messed with< while ya gone, THEY can call the police.( along with the granade, Chain DOG< etc)

Is the 2006 SG really that bad of a bike? I dig the SG's and plan on getting one. Was it a bad year thing or is some one trying to bash this guy's bike for no good reason.
If you end up going for a storage unit, make sure it is at very least in a fenced in area. Up here storage facilities are like supermarkets for **** heads. They'll hit a facility and almost every unit in that facility. This usually happens to the facilities that are off the beaten path and don't have a fence. The thieves are usually looking for carryable items, but no telling what they would do if they came across a bike. A guy up here had his car stolen out of a storage unit. They even loaded his own **** in his car and stole it all. Just gotta pick out a good facility that appears secure.
