New touring bike
I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up already but..... I'm in Ramsey's HD in Darlington, MD today.
They had a VRSC with road glide fairing and touring hard luggage. They were having a poker run so
there wasn't anyone around to ask. Someone said it was HD built, new for 07. I figured it would be on the
website but I can't find it.

RE: New touring bike
Nope. It's a kit that has been around for 3 or 4 years. Converts a V-Rod to a Roadglide looking Touring bike. I think it looks great but the conversion is very expensive.

Earl Small's HD in Marietta, GA usually has one of these conversions on the showroom floor or in the Cartersville, GA store; very, very cool scooter. I wonder about its balance since it puts weight where it is not found on the stock V-rod. Also, the conversions I have seen have all been on the V-Rods with the 3.7 gallon gas tank; limits the bike's range as a touring bike.

We say one of them at the HOG rally in Billings, Montana. they are really sharp, and look like they would turn the VRod into a serious touring bike.
The one I was had XM radioand all kinds of extras including a power radio antenna that came up from between the fender and the hard saddlebag.
Regards,
Bill
