Just wondering if anyone has heard of any deals on leftover 09 models. One dealer I talked to mentioned $1000.00 gift card with a purchase of an 09 Sportster 1200C. Is that a typical deal? Are all Harley dealers doing that? One website I went to said, "We are currently waiving freight and set up and including a $1,000 gift card on remaining 2009 big twin models and a $2,000 gift card for all NEW 08-09 V-rod models. Also,for a limited time used Sportster models come with a $500.00 gift card. Gifts cards are available for use for motorclothes, parts and accessories." Is this for all Harley Dealers? I'm just itchin' to buy a new bike and hoping for some kind of incentive for the month of May.

My local dealer was offering a $2009 gift certificate on the purchase on a remaining "09 Heritage. I think they had 3k on a VRod. Nothing off list......just the gift certificate.

 

Purchased new 2010 FSLTC (pictured) @ $2K below MSRP in early March.

 

should be a few deals out there!

Just depends on your part of the country. Around here things are picking back up, so the incentives aren't as great. Call a few dealers around you and figure out who's doing the best. Or better yet, stop in and see what they have and go from there.

 

I stopped at my dealer Saturday - no '09s left.

 

By me they are offings 2.9% finance on 2009 sportys.
