Default Motorcycles in Minnesota?

I am moving to a suburb of the Twin Cities very soon, and am wondering whether or not police there enforce laws regarding exhaust volume. I have pipes that are far beyond what is legal, and here near Milwaukee the cops don't give a damn. I don't see a lot of motorcycles around where I go in MN (mostly Hopkins area), so I am unsure as to how strict they are with their noise limits. Does anybody have any experience they would be willing to share?

I've never had any problems in minneapolis/st paul & i've had straight pipes while riding in the cities. Don't know how all of the burbs are but no problems in the cities.

Thanks for the information. First-hand information is exactly what I was looking for.

From personal experience, I would stay away from Rochester.

No big problems in the cities area. There are a couple burbs that get fired up about it, but overall no big deal.

That sucks. Any recent experience? A couple good friends from college live there.

You don't have to really avoid any of them, just might wanna be light on the throttle. Stillwater as mentioned, also Hastings and Hudson areas. These cities are on the river and see a lot of bikes come through. I think that is why they get upset.
