I rode with Brazilian Metzelers for the entire life of the tire without an issue. this was several years ago but I got about 10K out of the rear and the front still had plenty of tread. I always run dyna beads.

plus 1 .....my last couple sets of metzler tires have been from Brazil not one problem . I also run the beads. I am not rich but I would not worry about voiding a tire warranty on a $100.00 tire.

I just had a tire replaced through metzeler warranty. The tire needed 3 oz of weight to balance. That is excessive by metzeler standards and I got a new tire. Dealer did not want to change it out so I had to get metzeler involved! IMHO, best to get the tire mounted and see how much weight is required to balance it. If the tire has a low amount of weight to balance, get the beads and install, then take the weights off the wheel.

That's kinda how I was looking at this.

Just do the Dyna Beads. Don't waste time on the weights. It will ride much smoother with the beads.

Drew,
After our PM's, I ordered the Dyna Beads, not gonna worry where the tires were made or the warranty.

A couple hundred bucks worth of rubber ain't worth the grief, I'll just use 'em and enjoy 'em.

Thanks for all the very polite & helpful responses.

I agree the cost can be absorbed but, if the tire separates and you go down then you may be talking more than $100. I guess that's what insurance is for right? I'm not trying to be the naysayer but just wanted to point out the flip side. What does Dyna Bead say? Will they guarantee their product or do they profess a risk?

Most likely nothing will happen if you use Dyna Beads. Ride safe brother.
