I put AVON's on my bike and I agree there sticky but they wore out fast so I went with the Metzlers next still pretty sticky tire and better mileage wouldn't have changed brands if they weren't so damn pricey! Trying the Dunlop elite 3's now

Thanks for the info guys. I just figured they cannot get any worse mileage then my stock Dunlops, so why not spend the money on something else just to see. Avon does not make the exact size for my front on the Fatboy, so I have to go a little bigger, but that should not matter.

Thanks

Actually they should get less miles then the Lops, they are softer. I was going with the Avons next but I picked up a new Dunlop 200MM for 90 bucks when a local dealer closed. I couldn't pass it up. My friend put the Avons on his 06 Train & likes them a lot.

i have a nice bridgestone on mine now,but i will use the cobra next change like i said! but i have to agree with the guys about the grip, and particularly in the wet! i had far more confidence in wet and dry cornering with the avons, havet tried the metzlers! couldnt afford them

My last set of Avon's started cracking in the sidewall in less than a year. No more for me.
