Finally gonna change the oil myself this time instead of paying to have it done but I ran into a issue......Cant find the oil filter?!?!?! I looked all around the motor, front, back, underneath, under the oil tank, under the frame NO WHERES!!! Is there some secret hand shake to make it appear? Does my bike even have a oil filter? The owner before me put a oil cooler on the front down tubes, maybe he swapped the filter for the cooler? 1984 E glide evo. Any help would be great!

 

It's SUPPOSED to be right in front of the motor (behind the voltage regulator), Maybe it's black and un-noticable?? or the maybe your right and the guy relocated it or took it off??? (I'm not surprized by anything anymore).

Might have been eliminated or relocated, Shouldn't be that hard to find. Post a pic of where it should be

 

Follow your oil cooler lines and see where it takes you.

I would leave it for a professional

 

I'd cruise it into Bakersfield and show it to the Harley dealer or an Indy. Let them inform you of what you have or have not.
