Great day for a ride...and I'm at work
What a nice day here in So. Cal.....few 100 degree temps but most in the 80s and 90s...and of course I'm at work. My bike is sitting in the parking lot though...just no good lunch time rides from the middle of the SF valley (have to be less then an hour).
Boss won't let me sneak out either too many meetings.....this is torture!!!!
Heading to the mom-in-laws house in the morning....the temps are supposed to drop a few more degrees should be a great ride. I'm just ready now

that's what I thought too... so I just left[8D]
I get a 30 minute break from 12:00 to 12:30
I left at 11:23 and came back 1:44
nobody said a thing.....
got lucky I guess... but I didn't care, I just couldn't stand it

Even though I hate my job, I love the fact that most of my can be spent out on the road doing "site visits"
A lot of times I ride the truck into work cuz i'm still half asleep, but then when I wake up and realize the weather is nice, I take off to do some site visits, which means I run back to the house, hop on the bike, ride around for most of the day and then come back into the office around 3 or 4.
Sometimes I get the look like "that isn't what you drove in this morning" or "how did you ride that thing around construction sites"
I justify myself by telling myself they're all just jealous.

It's a perfect day in Dallas. Only 104 and not a cloud anywhere to hide the sun. I'm heading out at 3:00 to avoid the traffic. Fun....

Rose,
You are not the only one in this trap. Down here in South Louisiana it has been raining every afternoon at knockoff time. No bike riding until either late, late evening or super early am's.
Have not had a chance to ride since Sunday am. Weekend forecast of 20 to 40% chance of rain. "I wanta ride"
