Yeah, we do that one, although its not part of the basic course.

My dream might be squashed soon due to budget issues. It appears that the motor unit is in jeopardy of being cut.

We ended up not going to that one. I did compete in one out in Denver last summer, finished in the middle of the pack. Riding out of a pattern on the first run tends to kill your score. Had a good second run that brought me back up to the middle.

I was hoping for a chance to redeem myself this year but the budget cuts have ruined it.

What a great read. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm not sure if I'm inspired or intimidated, but I think I'll be a better rider for having read this.
