I really enjoyed your diary! Thank you for taking the time sharing with us!

I have found a "secret" collection of police cone patterns on the Internet. If anybody would like to practice take a look at this: http://motorcops.com/police_training...nepatterns.asp

Heheh... I got banned from my first site- Motorman's Tips and Tricks! It seems that I griped about them using "Tips and Tricks" link - in a line of links that had tip and tricks in it - to advertise the dang CD. Made no sense to me and I thought was a waste of my time, so I just commented. If I wanted another CD I'd have easily bought one right on their site.
But since I've been banned and can't really recommend their site, I guess I'll just have to share my CD with everyone around here for free.
I think it was his wife that answered and was really nasty about it. Too bad, I'll be teaching the course to our riders regardless.

Hey Stro, do you have to re qualify every year? The guys here in the RCMP have to do it every spring.

Yeah, in order to stay certified you have to re-qualify each year.

I assume you're with Bellevue PD? If so, tell Ed Monnier Dr. Lou said hello. We were buddies at the FBI National Academy.

Hey Stro, hope you are still keeping up with this thread. I just finished police motor school myself. I did not score perfect and I came out second in my class, but I'm 61 years old. Your thread was a great help in preparing me in what to expect. I did have a lot of second thoughts and wondered what was I doing there at my age. Anyhow, I made up my mind that I was going to see it through no matter what and amazed myself by completing and passing the course.

Again thanks for the heads-up and I can truly say that I'm a much better rider now.

Anybody thinking about it and think you're too old, don't just go ahead and do it.
