Depending on the height of the curb, a low mount oil cooler or the rear muffler tips will probably contact first before a fender, at least on an Electraglide. Lowered bikes more so for obvious reasons.

Thanks for asking. My back is fine, no issues. My left ankle gets tight and hurts whenever I stop using it for a few minutes. As long as I'm walking/moving around the pain level is reasonable. Might take a while to get it back to normal.

Well I read the whole thread. Very interesting and thanks for sharing you time. Don't let the Top Gun thing go to your head. Sounds like the chick was your only compitition, another week and she would have won it! lol So, is she hot or what? This is the best read on HDF in a long time. Now let get busy bustin those cagers on the cell phone's, Sarg!!!!

We used pieces of old firehose held on with duct tape. Protects the corners of the fairing in the event that the bike goes "full cockroach"! (mine was down a lot but never full cockroach!)
