Some days, my job just plain ROCKS!!!
So...
I drive for a living. A big "Hino", kinda like a real big, overgrown U-Haul.
I drive from Eugene, Oregon, over the mountains to Bend, in all weather and conditions, all year long, five days a week (less vacation time, of course....).
"So what's the big deal?", you ask.
Well, my truck had some minor heart failure last week, and it needs fixin'. Problem is, there's no "authorized" repair facility in Eugene. Two places in the entire state are allowed to do the work, and they're both in the PORTLAND AREA. Seeing that the towing warranty was expired 2 months ago, the bosses were trying to figure a way around the $800.00-$900.00 tow bill.
Well...
"How 'bout I tie down my bike in the thing, limp the truck to Portland, and ride back?" I asked. THEY WENT FOR IT! And they covered my gas!
So finally, I actually got paid to ride!
How cool is that?

Bosses take notice of people that go out of there way for the good of the company. You may even get a bonus when you get back. Good luck!
