Are you lookin for more power or are you lookin to drag your knee in a corner?
If you are lookin to get low in corners you may need to look at these guys here:
http://www.satoracing.com/rearsetshdXL1200.htm
Havent been able to find anyone cheaper but this was 2 or 3 years ago when I was lookin for the same thing. Obviously if you are goin this direction, you'll be looking for taller shocks, fork braces, etc. It all adds up quick.

http://www.storzperf.com/ Take a look at that site. Don't listen to the goofballs that say get a jap bike. You guys can read can't you, he said he wants to build a Harley. What are you guys doin on a Harley Forum? The picture is a bike a guy built himself, I think he's from France. saw it in an old magazine and it was written up on the Kneeslider web site. Second one is a Wakan, Sporty motor, and third is the Storz, the site I gave you. Good luck.

I own a Buell White Lightning, won't get rid of it for anything, but I rode the new XR1200 and that's the bike if money is not an issue. It does need motor work to keep up with the strong Buells. Nothing wrong with starting with a sportster either if money dictates, just won't acheive the best results, The discontinued Dyna Sport has good ground clearance and might be my pick. They weren't popular and might be able to get a deal.

Thanks for the link. I just want to do something a little different. and trust me, the only HD's up this way are pretty much factory. I have never seen a cafe racer or dirt tracker up here. I love my CBR and will always have a rice rocket in the garage as long as I can still take it to track days. But having a quick little HD would be a blast...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure HD already did that with the Buell. You can find some good deals on the remaining models in the dealers. That 1125 looks pretty badass.
