It appears that "Genuine Fuel Additive" has been discontinued, making this discussion moot. I haven't seen it at a Harley dealer in at least three years.
I've always used premium in my bike, but this year I've gotten bad gas at least twice. Both times from major brand, busy stations. I suspect that since premium costs $.40-$.50/gallon more than regular, very few people are buying it except for bikers and owners of '60s muscle cars. Therefore I think you have a greater likelihood of getting "stale" gas from the premium pump than ever before these days.
