Murrels Inlet is south of Myrtle Beach just past Garden City. Lots of good seafood spots including my favorite: Drunken Jacks.

Sorry to correct you but Hollister started in 1947 , 63 years old if it was still alive. Myrtle Beach is in it's 70th year as a rally IF IT LIVES!

We stayed just outside MB city limits a few nights ago. Hotel guy was telling us about the bullshit they did to the business owners by kicking out the biker business. Only one bike per parking spot, no loud pipes, helmets, 4 or more gathered can be considered loitering, etc.... We didnt even ride back through it after hearing that crap.

Used to go every spring, but no more. It's been said a lot already, but one more won't hurt - I'll support places that want me to come.

I have gone to MB almost every year since 1999. At first it was a blast but the last few years I have seen more and more rules and prices have gone through the roof.
Five years ago a decent room was $500.00 a week, now that same room is $1200.00 plus. I didn't go last year and don't plan on going any more unless MB changes all this BS from last year.
My money and I will go somewhere we are more welcome.

Thanks

Screw them. No more MBBW for me since 2008.
I let these geezers play golf and bingo and I spend my money somewhere else.

Don't go to MB.

NMB, SurfSide, Garden City, Murrell's Inlet, and Pawley's Island will be rockin.

Lots of folks don't seem to understand that it never was just MB. Plenty going on all around and it's easy enough to get back and forth w/out going into MB proper.
