Rode to Laughlin today with a buddy, had a blast.

Accidentally ran into the 'Lil Joe's Legendary Leathers vendor booth.

Mike & Lori run the business and were there. I tried on a few vests and told Mike I'd stop by to buy one before heading back to Vegas.

At the end of our day I went back to buy the vest. I set my iPhone down at Mike's booth as I was putting the vest on.

You guessed it, I left my phone there.

Heading home, I get to Searchlight, NV, 40 miles outside Laughlin and 60 miles from home and realize it's gone. I sent my buddy on his way home and said, I gotta ride back to Laughlin and see if I can find my phone.

I show back up at 'Lil Joe's booth and sure enough Mike & Lori had my phone!!!

Morals to this story:

'Lil Joe's vests are no doubt the best quality vests I've ever seen.

Mike & Lori are awesome, honest people.

I'm a moron.

I extended my ride by 80 miles!!!

 

Glad you got your Iphone back, I think I would be lost without mine LOL, best phone I have ever had. I am heading down to Laughlin tomorrow.

congrats on getting the phone back. In all my years of riding i never left the person i started out with ,until the ride was over. Not trying to rag on you, do things your own way

I understand where you are coming from.......but if I may add.

I had no intention of riding with my buddy until he pulled into his driveway.

I've never done that, nor do any of my buddies ride with me until I'm home.

We're grown men & we discussed the situation.......at some point in every ride, you go your separate ways.

Usually a follow up phone call is placed to ensure each made it home safely.

 

Had an excuse to ride longer. Like was said, Win!Win!
