What to do after the repo man
#22
I thought the OP was asking for advice on getting his bike back. Didnt think he was looking for a Dear Abbey response about his relationships

Agreed. The relationship ain't the issue here. It's riding season. Let help this man get back in the saddle.

Jeezus man cut the brother some slack...he just found out his OL has totally screwed him on his finances....maybe he actually trusted her since he married her. WTF are you? Mr. Perfect?

Best advice compiled more or less as above from a guy who's first wife was a $$ ho. (Thank Goodness I kept my business account to myself so I had cash flow)
1) Make sure you have full control exclusively of all accounts, know where you stand.
2) Know your rights with lenders
3) Call the company who holds the note, see what you can work out.
4) Get an attorney, going to need it. Divorce always comes down to $$.
Kicking her to the curb, moving out yourself or trying to remain under one roof (something I could never have done) is up to you. Want the bike back you will have to know your rights, where you stand financially in total and work on the whole $$ package. Lender will want to know YOU are in control and she was the F-up.
Just my Good Luck! I know what a pain divorce can be in sooo many ways.
