hate to see chit like this happen to anyone,would not wish it on my worst enemy call the lender tell them what happened if you have the money to bring it up to date they will do this but you are also responsable for all the money that it cost the lender to recover the bike if you have the cash to make it wright no problem if you don't they will sell the bike for what they can get out of it and you will still owe the balance of the loan.

A guy at work is going thruogh the same thing.He was working out of state sending the money home,his wife gave it all to the indian casino.They lost their house and about everything else.

 

They should have repo'd your wife

Just curious...was the bike in the garage? I mean, so he comes to the door and is like "we want you to open your garage and give us the bike"?

I always thought you were allowed to say no, which is why they go to the lengths of hooking cars in parking lots while people are at work and such?

Anyway, not saying being a jerk about it would have been the right thing, just wondering what would have happened if you offered to open the garage over your dead body. I assume the Sheriff would be involved at some point down the road, but it seems like it would buy another month or so.
