The smell of War

 

years ago, i mean lots of time back, my brother bought a new leather jacket and it smelled like FISH!!! Really bad, fish smell. I can still remember that so you can imagine how bad it was. He was mad as he** cause we teased him so much. It eventually faded but always had a bit of that smell.
You should get your money back this sounds like shoddy work to me.

Maybe they thought you ordered a smoking jacket. ; ) Seriously though, they do have great customer service so I'm sure something can be worked out. It's a special order, so that could be tough. I've bought 2 jackets, a vest and gloves from them and they smelled great. ; ) Nothing better than opening up the box of a new leather jacket and getting that smell. Hmmmm.....

My last jacket I bought was not cow but buffalo. Stunk for about a week but after it aired out a little the smell went away. I figured it was a combo of dyes and being buffalo skin for the smell.
