June 28 is this years million mile riding day.

 

Not sure what that means or refers to.

 

Every year HD picks a day for HD riders to ride their scooters and record that's day milage.

Traveling at an average distance of 5 miles from home to the local Starbucks (round trip), it will take 200,000 riders to achieve 1 million miles.

We could be in trouble but I'm willing to do my part.

 

OK, and I'm assuming there is a place to log this information into ? and also a chart online of sometime to keep a running tally ? and I'll aslo assume the goal to to reach one million miles with everyone combined ?

The article said it's for HOG members and you can only log miles by logging into the "exclusive" HOG members only web site.

 

I wonder how many miles HDF members would do that day?

I'm not a HOG member and never heard of this event.

 

It's only for HOG members. The goal last year was 5 million I think and they fell short and are trying for 5 million again this year. I didn't participate.
