HD - Million mile monday

Was that supposed to be some kind of insult? How about over 17,000 miles in 7 months last year. How many did you ride?
You guys don't seem to be able to grasp the point I'm making. Why do you not see that this is a great opportunity for the moco to do some good for a charity. Instead of the moco just promoting themselves, they could very easily donate to a cause using the riders efforts as the measuring stick (miles rode) to determine their contribution.

Assuming 40 mpg at $4.30 a gallon, OPEC is gonna make $107,500 that day.
There's a worthy cause. You just paid for their snow cone machine. Deluxe model.

Normal day for me is 60 miles round trip. That's just to work and back. Close to 4000 miles since the beginning of February. And I haven't even left the state.
Seriously, you think that all these people do is ride 5 miles to Starbucks? Man, that stuff went out in the 90s along with investment bikers. An average ride for the local hog chapter here is between 2-300 miles. I have no idea who just rides to Starbucks anymore.
Heck, with gas being what it is, I wish I only had to ride 10 miles a day. I'd be wealthy.
