I had a Daytona half that was DOT. It was too big around and gave me serious mushroom head, as well as lifting my head off my shoulders.

I am waiting on my check they said they mailed it on tuesday. as far as looking cool and pritty i am done and over with it. I now have a HJC I got a big head and no helmet will make my head look small. I can't see myself anyway. If you really look at ALL these little helmets they really don' compair to a real helmet for saftey. I am over all the bullshit ACC and there fake DOT testing and labling.I lost all faith in the rest of the BS helmets.also I am to old to be on the side of the road arguing with a cop and haveing my friends siting there on a nice day waiting for me. and I might just get my bike towed anyway.

Wow, I did not know this. ACC was great to deal with. Now they're only making "Kayak Helmets". Thanks for the info.

I am waiting for 2 weeks just for the return label from ACC. I can't imagine them actually sending out checks.

I dont think that you will see one. Read the notice, THEY are supposed to notify customers about the recall. That was administered by uncle bammy in March. Have you received a notice yet or did you happen to find out about it here?

I was wondering if I was the only one waiting for a return label that long. Sent an email today.

A picture of that helmet sitting on your (or anyone's) head would be really helpful. Trying to get a feel for the need to have a "DOT" skid lid. How 'bout it?
