Well My bike is almost broken in...I am 37 miles from the big 1,000..should I take it to the dealer or DIY. I called the service department and they have all new people there and didn't remember me since I bought my bike in 2006. WTF is that?

Should I use synthetic oil or just HD360?
After four years you expected your dealership to remember you? If you feel comfortable doing it yourself, save the money. If your bike is an '06 with less than 1000 miles on it, it isn't a major expense, a couple hundred bucks for the last four years. Plus, if you continue the mileage trend you won't have to do it again for say ...... twenty years Oh yeah, run synthetic.

Neither. You should just buy a new bike. At this point, the cost of replacing the blinker fluid, and electrical system repairs (due to continual kick stand ground discharge damage to the the ECM) really makes a new bike the affordable alternative. Let the old bikes' new owner learn that lesson the hard way.....and it's rotator cuff is also probably close to failure anyway.
