Gee, let's think about this........at over 15,000 posts I suspect the OP has seen about 200 of these 'should I do my own 1000 mile service' threads, and might be having a little fun.

1000 mile service is easy enough, mine only took a couple of hours but my nearest Harley dealer is a 600 mile round trip. Depends if you want a full service history.
