Burned a CD (MP3 format) with about 3 hours worth of songs. Picking up my first HD Thursday, an '05 Electra Glide Classic. Anyone know if this CD is gonna work in the stock stereo that is on the bike. Guess I could just wait till Thursday to find out, but don't really want to take the CD down with me if it isn't gonna work.

If I'm not mistaken, MP3 players didn't come out till 2006. But it will play regular CD's

it will not play in your 05.I have a o5. go and get a sony and forget all about cd, mp3 and than you can use a memory stick( Thumb drive) and really put some music on it .It will never skip like a cd.

 

CD will not work in the CD player. But...the stereo has an aux input for my iPOD, so it's all good.

 

Might be time to invest in a dedicated IPOD or other device for my '05 EGC. Changing out CD's gets old.

 

I have a selection of MP3 discs that I carry with me all the time, plus I use my iPod for longer days.
