I bought the HD Silencer grips 55869-10 and installed recently. Apparently, someone at HD thought it'd be a good idea to glue the metal part to an inner section. Now the grip will rotate freely instead of controlling the throttle when I twist it back. ![Icon Rant](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rant.gif)
80 bucks down the drain. Anyone have a similar experience?
Thanks,
matt

I just had this happen with the HD skull grips. Although my grips are 2 yrs old, the rubber actually seperated from the plastic tube causing me to lose throttle when riding. I just took them apart and applied super glue to the inside and slid it back into place. It's been working fine since.
