Does anyone really like riding 2 up?
Cryo-Man Here.
This is only my fourth season of riding and I do have to a admit that I would much rather ride solo then have the wife on back. I think of it like pulling a trailer, Sure I can do it, But I would rather not have the extra load to worry about. So does this even bother you seasoned riders with 25-30 years in or would you just really rather ride solo?

I can certainly relate! I love my rides with the OL, but the added stress of riding with her and encountering a potential problem really makes me increase my level of concentration. So much that when I get off the bike after we reach our destination... I feel a real "high" or buzz... I reach for the "buds" and chill. We made it.

I guess I'm the odd ball. I'd much rather have my wife with me. It's something we really enjoy doing together. Just leave the pets, kids, and problems in the wind and enjoy each others company.

But she has a bad habit of leaning the wrong way at times.
So I gotta be on my toe's all the time.
She also has bad knees and refuses to use the peg as a step.
So getting on and off while standing on the ground with the sissy bar means I have to lean the bike over for her and the damn thing gets reallly heavy with her on it.
