I ride all week long alone. She likes to get out and ride with me on the weekends and I don't mind taking her at all. Been riding for 30+ years and been married to her for the last 8 years. She's good company to have along.

 

Solo seat on my last 2 bikes. Enough said.

 

Don't like to ride 2. I'm kinda selfish that way. That being said, if the girl is HOT......

 

I grew up on a dirt track and was coaxed onto the pavement by my wife. Hell, I even let her have her say when we were shopping for bikes! I still love my dirt tracks, but it's just as fun to do something we both can get into. She enjoys the the ride as much as I do. I like my solo outings, but I can't complain when she on the back. Makes the bike look a hell of a lot better...lol.

 

I love it. I would take my wife on every ride if it were possible, and usually it is, so I'm a happy man.

Solo is better for me. 2 up isn't bad if the chick knows how to ride. I was riding 2 up yesterday. She was only about 105 lbs and was a good passenger other than the fact that she felt compelled to pinch my nipples as we were riding. LOL

 

I like short rides with the wife but she gets bored too easy so I can't see a 5+ hour ride in our near future. Not that we could with the kids ...

The only bad part about passengers is getting them on and off. I have a glide and haven't moved the antenna so you can't just throw your leg over the back. Most seem to hang their butts way out while they step over the seat. C'mon ...

 

I would and do take my Wife anywhere and everywhere on my Ultra we have a great time. She recently passed her riders course and obtained her full endorsement, and we bought her a new 1200 low. I haven't had a relaxing ride since. She is getting better and it (my worries)will pass but for now I am fairly freaked out.

Solo is always better performance wise. But two up is always better soul wise. nothing better than the one you love the most holding on to you and trusting her life with your motorcycle skills.
