I ride solo most of the time but love having one of my female friends on the back. Especially now that the weather is getting nice.

On my past bikes it has been pretty uncomfortable to ride 2 up. Not enough room for me to ride comfortably, however, this is on a classic yamaha.

I rode a Bandit 1250 last year. It was a great bike but not at all suited for two-up touring. Since my wife loves to ride we bought the ultra limited this year. It has turned out to be the perfect touring machine for two. I love blasting down the highway at 70 with the cruise set just taking in the sights. We had a few mishaps at first when she would suddenly shift position at the most inopportune times (like just as I am about to put my feet down when we are pulling up to the cash card) but we have pretty much worked things out. I couldn't imagine not having anybody to share the ride with. I need a jacket with a map pocket on the back so she can navigate. Sounds like a new invention.

Get her her own scoot. They will think you are the perfect husband, and since they never pay attention when you tell em stuff, with any luck you'll be riding solo within a year, with a new bike, assuming you had the forethought for the insurance.
