Insurance (medical payments?)
What is medical payments on geico's quote form? Its an option. Should I have coverage?
We have employer healthcare benefits that are good. Does this have anything to do w/ the letters we get from them after a injury claim asking if we were involved in an accident?
Cany anyone explain this portion of motorcycle insurance for me?

MPC (Medical Payment Coverage) Is usually $1K and it's optional. It's there regardless of fault.
YOur employer is asking if you had a injury/accd based on the medical claims recieved. They are subrogating. They need to verify if the MPC paid any Medical bills or if there is another insurance carrier (at fault person) who should reimburse your health insurance.
Now if you do have it, and you are in Wisconsin, the new laws make it that if you do have MPC, it has to be at least $10K. But you have the option to waive it.
Hope this helps.
