Easy Brackets + Throwover Saddlebags

Easy Brackets + Throwover Saddlebags
I'm planning on getting Easy Brackets and some generic throwover saddlebags to go fit them. Looking at the selection over on J&P Cycles, the Willie & Max Ranger Saddlebag seems like they would do nicely. The question I have is about the plastic tubs inside. Are they solid enough for the Easy brackets or will I need to reinforce them ?
Anyone ever used Willie & Max brand bags with Ghost or Easy brackets ?

I have some older Willie & Max bags, But they don't have plastic tubs inside of them.
I put Easy Brackets and Saddlemen bags on my wife's bike. I reinforced them with some thick leather and fender washers. So far no problems.
I don't like the looks of how far the bags stick out to the sides of the bike, thought about cutting down the mounting bushings. She says they look fine.
