I am thinking there might be a problem with some valve stems. This is the second time someone posted about this problem. I have never heard of this happening before and now two people post in two months time. Makes me wonder.
Pick up a set of cast steel caps that are chromed. They have a hex head on em, like a 3/8" or so. Gasket inside, they WILL NOT come off if you tighten them tight by hand. Bout 4 or 5 bux a pair at AZone or Advance AP.
I got to ask this question , Is this on a tube tire or a tubeless tire ?
My tire was a tubless but I'm guessing it could happen on either type if there's something wrong with the schrader vavle.

It's called a schrader valve. You can buy them in tire changing kits at your local mc parts store.
Replace the stock plastic stem cap with a metal one. The metal caps have an o-ring to prevent air loss from valve failure.
+1 That is what I have on mine. But I do check the valve stem with a tool when I air the tires after Winter. I have had them loosen several times on both my bike and cars. I also re-tighten them after any tire work as the monkeys who mount tires leave them loose many times.
