Got my blocks today from tamarack. Only took a couple days. Unfortunately my bike is at the dealer getting 10K service, inspection done, and new rubber on the front. I hope this puts my feet on the pegs comfortably, if not I am gonna have to send the seat out to mean city.

+1 on the Tamarack blocks. Been running them for 2 seasons now on the Superglide and I love them!

If you mean you are trying to get lower and farther forward, take a look at a Corbin Close Solo seat. My wife got one and it moved the seat so far down and forward I can't even ride her bike anymore.

Fugg, brother, I usually am not a big fan of dynas, but yours is... YUMMIE! Looks great with the springer.

I tried a HD Reach Seat and I felt too cramped with it. Plus mine is anniversary with the matching seat so I'd like to keep it on.

Oh, I have a reach seat for sale.......

So, if you wanted to be a little lower, after the 1" blocks, would you try a shorter shorter heavier shock?

check your clearance between the fender and belt guard , I know older wide glides like mine , this needs to be trimmed. I skipped the blocks and just went with shorter shocks

Default Shorter shocks

think i'll go with shorter shocks. Any recommendations for the 2006 wide glide?

Haha, just ran into this threat from a while back.

I retract my previous statement. I do not like the blocks. Started riding 2-up more and started bottoming out the shocks.

I did LOVE the look, but gotta be able to ride the thing.

And yes they are billet aluminum.

Also, i just did a 3" tank lift from jackle over the weekend, and the combo of the dropped rear and lifted tank showing off the twins is amazing. It looks badass! I'll be posting a write-up for the tank lift when i get some more time.

Some things to keep in mind w/ the lowering blocks:
* rider(s) weight - i've never bottomed out, but i have the shocks set to 4 (5 being stiffest) and when 2up we're only 330.
* pegs & exhaust will be lowering so keep that in mind when leaning. I've scrapped the bottom of the exhaust a few times... not a big deal
Plus, i think the bike handles better w/ the rear dropped, IMO!

Good luck.
