I believe it is first one at 1,000 and no more than every 5,000 miles. A lot of people do it before every 5,000.

Are you asking about the newer intervals for the trans and primary?

my manual say 5k motor 10k primary, 20k tranny
usually do all three between 4-5k same time.

do motor and primary at 5k or sooner
no way I'd go 10k in the primary
trans 10k or less with every other motor oil change
oil change is cheep insurance

Manual says 1K for all three, then 5K for engine, 10K for primary and 20K for transmission.

I have put 10 on the primary 4 times now and fluid came out clean...did 20k on tranny clean fluids...MOCO say 5000 on motor and that is with regular oil so you can go further with SYN if you want but most change at 5000 anyway....No problem following manufacturer suggested 5k motor, 10k primary, 20k tranny. Any sooner that this is a waste of money IMO because it is what the MFG. recommends.
